The third book in this fantastic MM series by Jax Calder, “The Unlikely Spare”, is set to release on August 22nd. I was able to purchase the book early and can confirm it’s the perfect ending to the series!

“Unlikely Heir” was the first Jax Calder book I read. From then on, I was on a mission to read everything she wrote. The Unlikely Dilemmas series is still my favorite. The perfect pair love, witty banter, and heart infused throughout the series makes them five star reads all around. Jax’s characters are endearing and relatable, despite their high profiles (royalty, a Prime Minister, prominent politicians, and a protection officer). The stories also keep you on your toes as you hurdle towards a HEA. Nothing felt guaranteed as you read with anxious anticipation. “The Unlikely Spare”, in particular, had me guessing until the end.

These books are truly perfect MM romance. I don’t think I’ve ever given five stars to an entire series before. Jax Calder is one of my favorites, and I love many other things she’s written— but Unlikely Dilemmas will always be closest to my heart. I cannot recommend this series enough!
